Transglobal Destinations
locally in the destination (eg security deposit, entrance fees) will be made in local currency. Where exchange rate fluctuations occur or any other increases in the price of services provided which are beyond the control of Transglobal Destinations, Transglobal Destinations reserve the right to adjust package prices accordingly, at any time up until the delivery of service, irrespective of the reservation payment status. Acceptance of this arrangement is a condition of booking. Any air content with tours is based on airfares applicable to stated validity dates. As airline prices are constantly changing it may be necessary to impose an air surcharge any time up to departure. Transglobal Destination prices are inclusive of the cost of research of travel products, consultant with travel agents, communication costs incurred in confirming travel services with overseas suppliers, providing documentation, brochure production, marketing and advertising. No representation is made by Transglobal Destinations to imply that the same, or similar, product may or may be obtained at a lower price. Receipt of payment signifies the acceptance of the costs of services provided on their invoice.

Any additional costs are to be paid by the passenger directly to the individual supplier. Airfares unless otherwise stated, visa and passport costs, travel insurance, vaccination and medical expenses, excess baggage, airport departure taxes, laundry, postage, phone calls, fax/email charges, beverages, items of a personal nature, tips and meals not mentioned on the itinerary. Anything not specifically included in the holiday package is at the passenger's expense.

PAYMENT TERMS Standard deposit
(minimum $250 per person) of the total tour package is required, within 7 days of confirmation, and if departure is more than 60 days. Any departures within 60 days full payment is required. Failure to pay the deposit on time may result in the booking being cancelled. Any reservation that has to be rebooked due to expiry of the booking through non payment of a deposit will be subject to an amendment fee of $33 in addition to immediate payment of the deposit. Passengers will be notified at the time of booking if any additional deposit requirements apply. Receipt of your payment signifies the acceptance of the costs of services provided, and the booking conditions contained herein. Final Payment
60 days prior to departure from Australia. Exceptions to this are bookings made by sale-end date, or other payment deadlines as specified in individual package conditions, whichever is the earlier. Some airline tickets and/or special offers may require payment well in advance of the normal requirements. If passengers fail to meet payment conditions Transglobal Destinations reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply the appropriate cancellation charges. Late payment may result in late issue of documentation which will not be issued until receipt of payment in full. INVOICES
It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure all details are correct. The right is reserved to correct any errors in rate quotes or calculated for any service notwithstanding that the invoice may have been paid in full. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

FEES No fee applies for the first amendment or to extend an existing booking before documentation is issued. Exception to this is the following circumstances: A proposed amendment maybe treated as a cancellation in the case of airline tickets, rail tickets, cruises, walking and cycling holidays, villa and apartment rentals. In this case cancellation
charges will apply. For second and subsequent alterations, excluding extensions or additions, a fee of $33 (incl GST) per booking will apply. After documentation is issued a $33 fee for any change will be incurred. Any additional charges applied by suppliers are payable by the customer and will be charged to your account. • No changes to the itinerary are permitted after clients have departed Australia.
Due to the costs of communication and provision of documents a charge will apply for the
following services (all GST included) Minimum Booking: $33 for bookings of less than $500 in total Late Booking: $33 for any booking made less than 7 days prior to departure from Australia. Guarantee of full payment is required at the time of booking. Courier fees may also be applied. Document Re-issue Fee $33 for any amendment made which necessitates a re-issue of documents. This may be in addition to any other amendment fee charged by suppliers and passed onto passengers. Payment by credit card. A fee will be charged on the value of the amount being charged to the passengers credit card and will be added to the amount being paid. Current fees applicable are as follows. MasterCard & Visa Card 1.5%. American 3.5% Diners is not accepted. Courier Fee. Where vouchers, tickets and travel documents are sent via specialist courier this cost will be charged to the passengers booking.
Cancellations No responsibility is taken for cancellations of hotel bookings or other services made directly by the passenger or the passenger's travel agent with the service provider, regardless of whether written proof is given.
60 days+ prior to departure. Bookings cancelled at any time after confirmation is subject to the forfeit of the security deposit, including any additional deposits required by suppliers. (In addition to this fee are any charges made by the hotel, tour operator, cruise line or other principal particularly when cancelling tours and other arrangements within 60 days of departure). Passengers should check what additional cancellation fees apply (if any) before paying your deposit. 59-31 days prior to departure 50% of total booking cost 30 days or less prior to departure 100% of total booking cost. These fees are subject to 10% GST
If passengers fail to check in at the designated hotel as confirmed, a 100% no show fee will be charged.
Refunds used due to late arrival, early departure, or by choice. This includes the failure of any transportation to operate as scheduled. Transglobal Destinations does not authorise any overseas suppliers including hotel management to promise refunds on their behalf. Any unused car rental is non-refundable. No refund applies if the cost of the passenger's holiday is reduced after final payment is made.
Departures on each tour. If, there is less than two passengers booked, the tour will not depart. Or naturally if sold out. CONSUMER CLAIMS We endeavour to ensure that all arrangements proceed smoothly. Occasionally problems can occur while away, in which case it is essential and most practical to try to resolve it locally with the provider of the service, if passengers are unhappy with the hotel room, inform the Duty Manager so the situation may be rectified on the spot. If passengers fail to take these steps any claim to compensation may be reduced or denied. If passengers have an unresolved complaint that should be put to Transglobal Destinations in writing detailing the efforts that were made with the local operator to resolve the issue. Please send this with supporting documentation within 30 days of the date of the service. No claim made after this period will be considered. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
and Transglobal Destinations shall be not liable for any injury, damage or loss caused by any unintended inaccuracy. If for reasons beyond Transglobal Destinations control, and if Transglobal Destinations determines in the interest of safety and security to change package arrangements, and/or accommodation either in whole in part they reserve the right to do so, and will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements of the same standard as that originally booked. Rooms and scenes shown are representative of those featured in various programs but are not necessarily supplied or visited. Hotel locations on maps are a guide only as maps are not to scale. Hotel gradings are those suggested by relevant local authorities and may vary from Tourist Office gradings. The quality of hotels overseas may differ from Australian standards. In general terms rooms can be smaller and fairly basic, particular those in the lower categories. If you prefer a superior degree of comfort, select a higher category of accommodation. Specific bedding arrangements can be requested but cannot be confirmed or guaranteed. Due to seasonal availability it may be necessary to substitute a hotel advertised with a similar category. Sometimes facilities including air conditioning or pool will on be operation in July, August or peak times only. The mention of facilities such as parking, gyms, sauna, etc., does not imply that the use of these is free. Often a charge applies payable locally (unless otherwise specified). Many sites in Turkey are open air and necessitate a reasonable amount of walking. While the walking is normally quite easy, if you are in any doubt about the nature of the sightseeing please consult with Transglobal Destinations. Special requests, such as wheelchair access suitable accommodation and touring, ground floor rooms or limited step access, must be made to Transglobal Destinations in writing and confirmed by Transglobal Destinations in writing, otherwise any such request cannot be guaranteed.
Exceptional Circumstances (eg extreme weather, natural disaster, political crisis, etc) extended services such as coach tours, cruises or accommodation are cancelled or changed by the supplier at very short notice, or up to several days prior to the date of service. This occurs extremely rarely, however in such eventualities Transglobal Destinations will make every endeavour to offer the passenger substitute arrangements of a similar nature, standard and cost. COMPANY RESPONSIBILITY
The services of Transglobal Destinations suppliers consist of arranging and coordinating accommodation, tours and transfers, making bookings and issuing vouchers to be redeemed by suppliers. To exercise every care in the selection of reputable airlines, tour operators, coach operators, hotels and other suppliers of the various travel services used n these tours. It is important to note, therefore, that all bookings with Transglobal Destinations are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by airlines, coach operators, hoteliers, and other service providers including but not limited to shipping, rail, car hire and restaurant operators, who services are utilized some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage of baggage. Transglobal Destinations do their best to ensure that your holiday arrangements are satisfactory, and accept liability for, but only to the extent of, any loss or damage sustained by the passenger as the result of negligence, or that of their employees or agents. However, Transglobal Destinations does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default whether negligent or otherwise, of those airlines, coach operators, shipping and cruise companies, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with tour arrangements pursuant to a contract between themselves and the passenger(which may be evidenced in writing by the issue of a ticket, voucher, coupon or the like) and over which Transglobal Destinations has no direct and exclusive control. Transglobal Destinations does not accept responsibility in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which is beyond its control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on the part of Transglobal Destinations, including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, flood, unsavory sever weather, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidences to, or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action (whether or not involving Transglobal Destinations employees and even though such actions may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labour group)
in the areas they intend visiting, and they shall be responsible for all exit, entry, health and other documents required by laws, regulations, orders, demands or requirements of the countries visited or transited. Each passenger (including infants) requires a valid transport. Passport and Visa requirements are not Transglobal Destinations responsibility or that of the travel agent and/or Transglobal Destinations is not liable for any loss or expense due to a passenger's failure to comply with the above. Visas may take several weeks to process. Passports must have at least 6 months validity from the date of return to Australia. It remains the passengers responsibility to ensure that documents are in order and to meet any additional cost incurred (whether by the passenger or by Translgobal Destinations on the passengers behalf) as a result of failure to comply with such requirements. Passengers accept that they may be traveling through areas of political or climatic instability, high altitude and remote areas without proper medical services, and accept the associated risks. The making of a booking constitutes passengers acceptance of all booking terms and conditions as described herein and forms the basis of your contract with Transglobal Destinations. TRAVEL AGENTS RESPONSIBILITY
and to communicate any changes or alterations advised to Transglobal Destinations. No representation made by the passengers Agent concerning the quality, location, or any other matter in relation to the services and facilities provided by Transglobal Destinations shall bind Transglobal Destinations, unless their agent has been expressly or impliedly authorised by Transglobal Destinations to make such a representation. LAW OF CONTRACT
or in any way connected with the holiday may be brought only in a court in Victoria, subject
to any law which is expressly inconsistent with this. |
